We need your voice and your leadership–now more than ever.
As we prepare for Texas’ upcoming legislative session, we encourage you to become part of our growing community of concerned residents and plugged-in professionals by joining our Membership.

Report after report has forecast one of the leanest legislative sessions in recent memory due to what’s expected to be a vast-budget shortfall. The fight to ensure the critical funding to support mental and behavioral health services throughout the Greater Houston Area will be tougher—and more important—than ever. We need you with us.

All members are invited to our membership meeting, “What You Need to Know About the 85th Texas Legislative Session,” on January 12, 2017 from 9:00 am - 10:30 am at Mental Health America of Greater Houston (2211 Norfolk, Suite 810, Houston, 77098).  Join us to learn more about the issues facing all of us and how you can advocate for Houston in Austin.

Members are the heart and soul of our organization.  Membership with Mental Health America of Greater Houston puts you in excellent company and signals your interest in being counted among the most involved and forward-thinking individuals in the area.

Please RENEW your annual membership, become a NEW member, or give a GIFT of membership to Mental Health America of Greater Houston to a family member or friend. We also offer ORGANIZATION/AGENCY level membership to include your staff and board members.

At every level of membership, you will have access to an array of benefits including the membership meeting, “What You Need to Know About the 85th Texas Legislative Session, Minding Houston blog and legislative updates, The Advocate News Magazine, the Mental Health eNews (monthly), and The Guide: Mental Health Resource Brochure and invitations to the annual meeting, special member events, workshops and trainings.

Together, we can transform the way our city and region approaches mental health.  Thank you for your participation and we look forward to seeing you at the membership meeting.
