The Texas Learning Community on Integrated Healthcare (TLC) hosted a two-day conference for participating teams on November 3^rd and 4^th in Austin.  Fourteen (out of eighteen) TLC teams throughout the state attended the conference along with representatives from the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, the Meadows Foundation, and the Department of State Health Services.  The conference provided an opportunity for teams to learn from each other through presentations on the work of various sites, panels on financing and outcomes for integrated healthcare, and discussion.  Through their informal comments as well as through formal evaluations, participants indicated that they learned a great deal and found the conference to be a very useful opportunity for networking with other sites pursuing integrated healthcare.  The conference was funded through a grant from the Meadows Foundation.  The Hogg Foundation and the Meadows Foundation have supported the TLC for the past two years.  For more information about the TLC, please contact Alejandra Posada at aposada@mhahouston.org.  Additional resources for integrated healthcare can be found on the Hogg Foundation's website and at the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions' website or by contacting MHA of Greater Houston.
