Find Help

Mental Health America of Greater Houston has several programs and services designed to help individuals, couples and families improve their mental health and wellness.

MHA Pro Bono Counseling Program

One of the goals of MHA is to increase access to short-term counseling and therapy for those who cannot afford it.  The MHA Pro Bono Counseling Program partners with licensed mental health professionals in locations around the Greater Houston area who have agreed to see individuals free of charge for a limited amount of sessions.

This program is designed for people who only need short-term care and who are dealing with challenges such as stress, sadness, grief/loss, marital issues, or anger.  It is not intended for people who have a severe psychiatric illness or a long history of mental health treatment.
