Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Join Mental Health America of Greater Houston as we welcome The MILA Foundation in providing education and awareness on grief that families experience during a perinatal loss.
The objective of the Lunch & Learn is to enhance an understanding of perinatal bereavement allowing a provider to give the best quality of care to patients and also help families move toward a direction of hope and healing.

The MILA Foundation Corporation is a nonprofit faith-based organization providing support to families with an infant or child in critical care.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) life is not an easy one. Not every mother and father gets to hold their precious baby at birth. Our families deserve to hold their child every day in the comfort of their own home. Where they belong.
In the event an infant should not make it home, we want our families to know that they are not alone. Extending our services to these families, during their difficult time, will relieve them of the stress they will endure during their time of loss.
The journey is long; but together we can provide support to any family that has been impacted by a micro-preemie birth, infant loss, or are faced with the critical care life. You can help. Together we can make a difference.
