Ritasha Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in emotional challenges affecting individuals and their families. For many clients these challenges can be addressed with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT and other therapeutic modalities as needed. In addition to her clinical skills, her distinct education in child development encourages her to incorporate development inclusive assessments when approaching mental health and behavioral symptoms in the clients she serve.
Before starting herclinical practice, she worked in various clinical settings throughout Harris County; including psychiatric hospitals, community mental health agencies, adoptive/foster agencies, residential treatment facilities and public charter programs. Ritasha Taylor is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Downtown in the Social Work Department.
