Ask the Expert: Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders Q & A
Dr. Rhoda Seplowitz will offer medical, mental health, para-professionals and those who deliver care or services to mothers and their young children, the opportunity to ask questions about perinatal mood & anxiety disorders. She will provide techniques on how to enhance their knowledge when interacting with mothers who may be dealing with postpartum depression and other perinatal disorders.

Rhoda Seplowitz completed her internship and residency in psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in 2008. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc, a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Upon completing her residency, Dr. Seplowitz worked at Baylor College of Medicine where she was the Director of Reproductive Women’s Behavioral Health Services for the Harris County Hospital District, now the Harris Health System. As an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Dr. Seplowitz taught and supervised psychiatry and family practice residents. In private practice since 2009, Dr. Seplowitz is still involved in research and community outreach.
