ASIST Training at the Harris Center

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is excited to offer an
Open Community Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.

This class is for individuals who want to be able to provide suicide first aid.  
The class is open to anyone 18 or over regardless of prior levels of experience.
The ASIST model teaches effective intervention skills while helping to increase suicide prevention networks and build suicide safer communities.

This training will be January 25-26 at the new Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD
building at 9401 Southwest Freeway.

ASIST is being offered at $300 per participant for the 2-day intensive workshop.
