Mental Health 101

The objective of Mental Health 101 is to provide accurate information about mental illness, the signs and symptoms of various disorders, treatments, medications and available community resources. This workshop explores various screening tools, communication and crisis de-escalation techniques and referral services. The training is designed for professionals new to mental health, case workers, new non-licensed professionals, outreach/direct care workers and overall, anyone who is seeking to understand the basics of mental health.
