YCMF Committee Meeting

Mental Health America of Greater Houston is leading and supporting the YCMF, a Women's Mental Health collaborative effort to significantly improve the mental health outcomes of mothers of new babies in Greater Houston. 


The committee is open to licensed professionals, community health workers, case managers, etc. who work with new moms around perinatal mental health. 


The next meeting is


Friday, June 19, 2015 from 12:00pm-1:30pm. 


We will have the following programming updates:

  • Professor McClain Sampson will be discussing her PPD Screening Project.
  • James Nutter, Kathy Griffin and Jennifer Herring with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office will be discussing the Mentoring Moms Program at the Harris County Jail.
  • Ernesto Lopez, Jr and Stephanie Gutierrez from Catholic Charities will be providing us information about the Texas Pregnancy Care Network Program.

Also, stay and join us as we start the planning process to bring the new film, Dark Side of The Full Moon, to Houston.
