Kristen Berglund is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in private practice in Northwest Houston for the past five years. She works primarily with an adult population of clients, and particularly enjoys working with new parents, couples and survivors of sexual abuse. Prior to changing careers in 2009, Kristen spent 12 years in the financial industry, and gained valuable life experience which has helped her to relate to clients in her therapeutic practice. She has volunteered with Mental Health America since she began practicing, first by co-facilitating a therapy group at a halfway house, then by seeing individual clients through the pro bono program and becoming involved in the Women’s Health Initiative as a volunteer trainer.
