The Impact of the ACA and Parity on Behavioral Health Providers’ Financing Strategies
An Education Event of the Greater Houston Behavioral Health Affordable Care Act Initiative
United Way of Greater Houston, 50 Waugh Drive, Houston, TX 77007
Friday, December 6, 2013 l 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
This issue-specific educational event provides the opportunity for attendees to gain more in-depth knowledge on specific aspects of health reform that have been identified as needs by participants in the first BHACA activities.
In this informal, interactive session, we will be exploring how the final rule on parity provision, the introduction of the Marketplace, and other changes impact the way behavioral health providers design their business plans to ensure they can remain the strong, responsive entities as consumers begin to exercise provider choice.
Thanks to the generosity of our funders, Houston Endowment Inc., The Meadows Foundation and United Way of Greater Houston Community Response Fund, this event is offered at no cost to participants.
