Mental Health and Chronic Illness- Supporting Individuals and Families

 

Learn how to support the mental health concerns of individuals experiencing chronic illness and their family members and assist them with accessing care.

 

The intended training audience is staff members/volunteers of organizations working directly with individuals with serious/chronic illness, this may include caseworkers, Community Health Workers, home health aides, and/or nursing assistants.

 

Date: Thursday, October 3, 2013

Time: 1 – 4 pm (Registration begins at 12:45)

Location: United Way Building, 50 Waugh Dr., Houston, TX  77007

Parking: Visitor parking available in the adjoining garage

 

The training is being given free of charge to participants.
