Mental Health and Chronic Illness - Supporting Individuals and Families

 

Learn how to support the mental health concerns of individuals experiencing chronic illness and their family members and assist them with accessing care.

The intended training audience is staff members/volunteers of organizations working directly with individuals with serious/chronic illness; this may include case managers, Community Health Workers, home healthcare workers, nursing assistants, and/or health techs.

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Registration begins at 8:30)

Location: United Way Building, 50 Waugh Dr., Houston, TX  77007

Parking: Visitor parking available in the adjoining garage

 

The training is being given free of charge to participants.

 

The presentation will be given again on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
